Have decided to read The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick again, but this time with Emma. She's intrigued by both reading and art. I want to cultivate both interests. So, tonight we started and she doesn't want to stop reading. She even took a shower without complaining and took the fastest one ever! (I even used my mommy nose to check that she'd used soap!) If you haven't heard the recent hoopla surrounding Martin Scorsese's movie adaptation of the book, then just visit the following sites for more info. But take my word for it...it's a great adventure story! Not to mention the absolutely breathtaking pencil sketches. My favorite.
